Bellarine Peninsula Basketball Association is running a holiday hoops camp for children aged 5 – 12 years of age who are either new to basketball or who play domestically.
The camp will be coached by Olympian Natalie Hughes and held over two days at Bellarine Sports Centre, Drysdale, on 21 and 22 December.
Hughes, who played with the Great Britain Basketball team at the 2012 Olympics, is also a former Australian Opals representative.
Hughes had played with Women National Basketball League teams Sydney and Dandenong and had a US College basketball stint with the University of Oregon in the US.
This year, Hughes was appointed Bellarine basketball’s development and high performance manager.
