TENDERS are being sought by the council calling for submissions from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of the early earthworks contract for stage one of the Drysdale Sporting Precinct.
Tenders will close on Friday 9 September with the submissions evaluated, contract awarded and the successful contractor signed up by Friday 23 September.
An anticipated start date on site would be early October and a finish date for this component of the overall project is expected to be just prior to the Christmas break in December.
The design/consultant team will progress with further design components during this time in preparation for the overall detailed design package.
