DRYSDALE consolidated its place in the A Grade netball top four with a win against Newcomb on Saturday.
The Hawks are one game clear of Anglesea, but face top side Modewarre on the weekend in the final game. Anglesea meets Barwon Heads. A Hawks loss and an Anglesea win would see Drysdale miss the finals.
However on Saturday Drysdale turned it on and smashed bottom side Newcomb by 73 goals. Emma Allwright (53 goals), Hannah Kennedy and Ella Mannix were superb contributors.
The B Grade side is sixth on the ladder and cannot make the finals, but defeated Newcomb by 49 goals. Isabelle Boland, Alyce Willie (37 goals) and Pru Laws were dominant.
The C Grade sits in seventh spot on the table after an eight-goal win against a gallant Newcomb. The D Grade side can still make the finals.
They sit in fifth spot one game adrift of Barwon Heads, but with a comparable percentage. A win against second-placed Modewarre this weekend and a Barwon Heads loss to seventh-placed Anglesea would see the Hawks sneak into the finals.
