Drysdale Under 19 girls are in

DRYSDALE’S Under 19 netball side will contest the finals this season.
The Hawks are in second place with one game to play and are assured of finals action.
They will keep second spot if they beat Modewarre this weekend. On Saturday the Hawks defeated Newcomb by 37 goals.
The 17U Section One side beat Newcomb by 28 goals with Chloe F. Davis, Alyssa Jones and Molly McKenzie starring. The girls are on top of the ladder and are playing some stunningly good netball. With a game against seventh-placed Modewarre to come, the team should finish the season as minor premiers.
The 17U Section Two had a bye. It’s been a tough year for the girls, sitting bottom of the ladder, but they can finish on a good note with a win this weekend.
Drysdale is on track to make the finals of the 15U Section One competition.
The side is two points clear of Geelong Amateur and can sew up a finals spot this Saturday. The girls won by 40 goals on the weekend with Taylah Wilson netting 25 of them.
The sixth placed 15U Section Two had a bye. Drysdale 13U Section One side is in fifth spot, but is 10 points adrift of Barwon Heads. They defeated Newcomb by 23 goals on Saturday thanks to massive games from Clare Gorman, Grace Valentine and Abbey-Rose Van Ingen.
The 13U Section Two had a week off courtesy of a bye.
