Marcel Braun needs your help.
The 11-year-old Drysdale boy needs to raise $3000 to fulfil his dream of competing in the National Special Olympics in April next year.
Marcel competed at the EV Armature show in the RDA ring in March this year with his horse Sasha for the first time where he won gold.
As a recipient of a medal Marcel was able to be part of a selection to become a member of the Victorian Special Olympics team to compete in the National Special Olympics in April next year. These games are held every four years and Marcel has been selected.
He is one of only four Victorians picked and he is the only rider from the Barwon region to be selected.
The cost to get him to the games will be $3000.
Marcel is a very keen horse rider and lover of horses.
He owns his own horse Sasha who has become his second mum. Marcel is a member of RDA Victoria and Special Olympics Victoria Barwon region.
Marcel’s mother Rachael is organising a raffle for which she hopes that local businesses can donate prizes. She can be contacted at rachelbutcher@live.com.au
She has also set up a Go Fund Me page at www.gofundme.com/marcelsdream
