Lest we forget

On Wednesday 25 April 2018, Australia will commemorate 103 years since the ANZAC landings on the shores of Gallipoli.
To mark this significant event, the Drysdale RSL Sub Branch will conduct an Anzac Day Commemorative Ceremony Service.
This is a wonderful opportunity to remember those who gave so much for our country.
The Drysdale RSL ANZAC Day Service will commence with a Commemorative Ceremony at 10am in the Drysdale Primary School Assembly Hall located in Collins Street.
The second part of the ANZAC Day Service Ceremony will be the veterans march and wreath laying service, which will be held at the Cenotaph in High Street (adjacent to the CFA Station), commencing at about 10.45am.
Representatives from various community groups and organisations have been invited to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph service. Members of the public are welcome to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph at the conclusion of the formal wreath laying ceremony.
The Uncle Bob’s Club will conduct at reasonable prices a sausage sizzle after the service behind the RSL building. The RSL Drysdale Ladies Auxiliary will provide light refreshments at the RSL rooms after the service.
